Feeding Program
Providing daily hot meals to school-going children in Kware and its environs, ensuring no child goes to bed hungry.
About the Program
The Feeding Program at Miale ya Tumaini is open daily, providing a hot meal to school-going children in Kware and its environs. Meals are served from 12:45 to 1:30 during school days, and from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on weekends, public holidays, and school holidays. On average, 17,000 plates of food are served every month to approximately 350 children and parents, mainly aged 3 to 17 years.
The center also caters for parents living with different health conditions who are unable to leave their homes, expectant mothers in their last trimester, and lactating mothers for the first 2 months. Our goal is to ensure that no child or vulnerable family member goes to bed hungry.
